Complaint letter: what to include
- 1Your order or reference number in the subject.

- 5Where you'll escalate if it isn't fixed.
Questions
- Email or letter?
- Either works for most complaints. Keep a copy and proof of sending; for big amounts, registered mail is safer.
- What if they don't answer?
- Escalate to the ombudsman or consumer body in your country. The notes under your letter name it where we could verify it.
- Should I sound angry?
- No. Calm, factual letters get results faster — and read better if someone else reviews the case later.
